BLK ODYSSY came through 4Cee Sessions to perform live at Reservoir Studios in NYC. Born Juwan Elcock in Plainfield, NJ, Parliament-Funkadelic's hometown, he fuses soul, hip-hop, funk and psych-rock into records built like films. This session catches him behind his album MOOD CONTROL, where he tied a frequency to every song: one for the feeling, one to heal it.

Live, it's four musicians telling four stories at once and still landing as one. Jimmy Blazer on bass, Marcus Jones on drums, Alejandro Rios on guitar. The set moved through WAVES, POSSESSED, and FUNKENTOLOGY, the same storytelling and reflective songwriting that's carried him from NPR Tiny Desk to an executive-production credit on Rapsody's Please Don't Cry.
